Winamp vs. iTunes Media Library February 14, 2009

Hands down, Winamp’s media library reigns supreme over iTunes.

Need I say more? OK. I will. Recursive scanning of watch folders does away with the user being required to pick a folder to scan. Winamp simply searches for new files in folders. What if I have duplicates in my library? Winamp also removes dups.. how great is that? I had to download a special program and back up my library data file to accomplish this in itunes. what a bunch of crap!

iTunes media library is OK if you only buy from iTunes and only have an ipod, but get real.. go with winamp and you’ll be ready to rock!
