Hello Everyone,

I will be be out of the office for the next 3 weeks on vacation in Fiji. During this time, I will be online via VPN and checking email as regularly as possible given the extent of my cell coverage.  I’m also making a trip to port vila during which time I’ll be unavailable. I’ll send a follow up to this email with a more strict communications plan as soon as I arrive and get my bearings.

Here are the points of contact for each product (contact them in order of appearance) while I’m away:

[names not disclosed]

My goal in taking this trip (so suddenly) is to spend some quality time with my step dad who has been sailing around the world for the last 3 years. (more on that here: http://www.scholarshipvoyage.com/)  We’re doing a passage between Nadi and Port Vila and will be traveling around some of the other islands as well.

Finally, an HUGE Thank You to everyone who will be making adjustments to accommodate my absence, I greatly appreciate it!

I’ll be in touch, and look forward to seeing all of you when I return!

Gratefully Yours,

The Stole of Gratitude! May 14, 2009

I was blown away when Cody presented me with his Stole..

The Stole of Gratitude offers an opportunity to say, “Thanks for helping me make it through.” “Thanks for making it possible for me to succeed.” “I didn’t do this alone.” the Stole of Gratitude is worn during the commencement ceremony. After the ceremony, the new graduate presents the Stole of Gratitude to someone who provided extraordinary help or support, i.e., parents, relatives, or mentors who have helped with wisdom, words of support or with financial assistance. Immediately after graduation, the graduate may take the stole from around his/her neck and place it around the neck of the recipient.

Whenever I have work that requires significant focus I like to loop Mudhouse by Bob Schneider.. I can always bang it out when Bob is blaring!

Thank you Bob!

What do you like to listen to when it’s crunch time?  Classical? Classic Rock? Death Metal? Folk? Barney?

If you can answer Yes to this statement, you also have a man crush on Barack Obama:

If it was cold outside and Barack didn’t have a coat I’d spoon with him to keep him warm.

See, easy answer.
